9/9/9 is "Christmas Day" for Beatles fans. Not only are the new remastered stereo & mono box sets out that day, but there's also the first ever Beatles themed video game: The Beatles Rock Band (for Nintendo Wii, XBox 360, & PlayStation 3.)

Beatles Rock Band promises to be the greatest music related video game ever. It takes the (already quite cool) Rock Band format to the next level by not only adding 45 songs from the greatest band of all time but also by adding really cool new features like harmony singing (which allows for up to three vocalists on one song) along with practice modes to improve drumming and singing skills. Software Only Version

If you already own Rock Band (ie the drums, guitar, & mic) then you don't need to buy the full bundle version, instead you can get away with buying the much less expensive software only version. Although you may need to purchase additional microphones if you want to be able to make full use of the harmony singing feature (of course 3 mics are required if you want to 3 people to be able to sing!)

Full Version

If you don't own Rock Band yet then you'll need to get the full version. The cool thing is that the full version is really great! It comes with replicas of Ringo's drums and Paul's bass guitar (which can be used as a guitar as well as a bass.) You can also purchase replicas of John & George's guitars as well.
